Day 1: Pickup and transfer to Tsavo West national park.Â
On the first day of your 2 days Tsavo West safari.You safari guide from Primate Holidays will pick you either from your lodge in Nairobi or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and give you a briefing about the safari, after a briefing. You will go to Tsavo West national park in Kenya’s coastal premises. This park, which has a total area of 9,065 square kilometres, is a haven for red elephants. The largest protected region in Kenya, “Tsavo national park,” is made up of Tsavo West and Tsavo East national parks, two of the best places in the country are all suitable and perfect to see wildlife. You will proceed with your journey to Tsavo national park.
After your arrival, you will check into your lodge, take lunch and go on an afternoon game drive through the plains of Tsavo West National Park. On this game drive, you will see over 600 different species of birds, including the African finfoot, Basra reed warbler, Black-faced sandgrouse, Common whitethroat, Corncrake, Fischer’s starling, Golden pipit and Golden-breasted sandgrouse. You will have the chance to see Mzima springs, an oasis of crystal-clear water and a haven for hippos and crocodiles, on the same game drive.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi.
On the second day of your 2 days Tsavo West safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast, after breakfast you drive around the park to look for early risers including lions, rhinos, wild dogs, and elephants, among other animals that call the park home including the bird species. You will stop by the Rhino Sanctuary, which is located inside the park to see the black rhinos, during the game drive. Afterwards, leave the park and go back to Nairobi, where you’ll have lunch and then be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight home or to your next adventure.
