Day 1: Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Ngorongoro conservation crater.
Depending on where you are on the first day of 3 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara Wildlife safari, our driver guide will pick you up, brief you about the safari, and then drive you to the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is in the north of Tanzania. The trip takes about 2 to 3 hours by vehicle. Along the way, you’ll see beautiful Masai towns, landscapes, and farmlands, among other things. When you get to the lodge, you’ll check in and have lunch.
After lunch, you will go on an afternoon game drive in the Ngorongoro crater, which is the biggest intact, inactive, and unfilled caldera in the world. During the game drive you will descend down the crater through the lush forests at the crater walls and once you reach down the crater floor you will have breathtaking views of the big five mammals (elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, rhinos), other animals like zebras, wildebeest, waterbucks, gazelle, hyenas, cheetahs, hartebeest, impalas, elands and different bird species. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Lake Manyara national park.
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 day Tanzania safari to Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara national park, you will meet up with your driver guide to go on a morning game drive. You will be able to see grazers eating fresh grass with their young ones, big cats hunting, bird species, and more. You will drive back to the lodge for lunch after the game drive.
Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch, you’ll check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide to go to Lake Manyara National Park. When you get to the park, you will go on an afternoon game drive where you will see amazing animals like elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, tree-climbing lions that will be sleeping in the acacia tree branches, different bird species like flamingos, primates like blue monkeys, baboons, and others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning game drive and departure to Arusha.
On the last day of the 3 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara Wildlife Safari, after an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you on a morning game drive. On this drive, you will see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, bohor reedbucks, klipspringer, wildebeests, bushbucks, After the game drive, you’ll have lunch back at the lodge.
After lunch, you’ll check out of the lodge and meet your driver. On the way to Arusha, you’ll get great views of the local people and their homesteads. When you arrive, you’ll be taken to the airport for your flight home, or to any other place comfortable for you.
