During a 3 Days Nyungwe Forest National Park, you will travel through Rwanda to reach Nyungwe National Park and its various wildlife species. The park is located in the south western part of the country. Being the largest natural rain forest in entire East Africa. Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest national park.

On the first day of the 3 Days Nyungwe Forest National Park. Your driver guide will meet you at the airport in Rwanda or at your hotel and welcome you while giving you a briefing about the 3 days Nyungwe Forest National Park. The country of a thousand hills, and will take you on a quick city tour before driving you to the south of the country. You will have a chance of exploring the Kimironko market where you can get yourself a souvenir, buying yourself fresh fruits, visiting the Kigali genocide memorial Centre. You will have lunch en route and travel for around 5 hours, past the palace of the Nyanza King, the Butare Museum, and the sites of the Huye and Murambi genocides.
In the evening, arrive at the park and check in to your lodge. It is advised to rest in preparation for the following day. Spend the evening at leisure or decide to participate in an optional activity if you are feeling energized. Dinner and overnight stay at the selected range’s lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk.
On the second day of the 3 Days Nyungwe Forest National Park. Wake up early in the morning and be serve with a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, meet with your driver guide to take you to the park headquarters Uwinka/Cyamudongo for the briefing about the rules and regulations to follow while carrying out chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing you will be divided into different groups of 6 people with the presence of the armed rangers you will explore the park’s jungles and search of the chimpanzees in the forest.
Chimpanzee trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location as they keep going deep in the forests looking for food along the way looking for the chimpanzees you will encounter the wonderful creatures like the plant species, bird species, other animal species that makes the safari activity wonderful. And once found, you will spend one hour in the presence of chimpanzees while watching them grooming one another, watching them swinging on the nearby trees, watching them play. After you go back from the starting point to receive your chimpanzee trekking certificates for taking part in the safari activity and return back to the lodge for lunch.
After chimpanzee trekking, have lunch at your lodge before returning to the park in the afternoon for your canopy tour. The fact that this bridge is suspended over the forest allows you to view the wildlife from above and makes it a favorite location for birdwatchers and every nature lover this is where you are going to experience the aerial magnificent view of the entire park. Before sundown, make your way back to your lodge. The same place where you had dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and city tour.
On the third day of the 3 Days Nyungwe Forest National Park. Get up early and be served with a hearty breakfast. Check out of your lodge after a filling breakfast in the foggy Nyungwe, where your driver guide will be waiting to take you back to Kigali. You can stop at any locations you might have missed on Day 1 in route, then continue on to Kigali for a quick visit to the Kimironko market and the Genocide Memorial Grounds and any other place of your choice. Make arrangements to be dropped off at the airport or another location in Kigali as you have specified.
