Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
On Day1 of your 3 days Nyungwe National Park tour, Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide who will meet you from the Kigali International airport or from any hotel in Kigali and transfer you to Nyungwe National Park but before the transfer, you are going to go through a briefing session where you will be taken through your entire tour, the expectations, the activities you will be carrying out among other expectations of the tour.
After the briefing session, you are going to go to Nyungwe National Park where you will see a number of primate species like Rwenzori colobus, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, owl-faced monkeys, Angola colobus, L’Hoest’s monkeys, Dent’s Mona monkeys, vervet monkeys, silver monkeys. Upon your arrival at the park, you will head to your lodge and check in for dinner and overnight stay.
 Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk.
On day 2 of your 3 days Nyungwe National Park tour, wake up early in the morning and take breakfast, after an early morning breakfast you will meet your safari guide and head to the park to participate in rewarding activities. You will head to the Uwinka reception area and will go through a briefing session about the Do’s and don’ts for safe activities in the park. A memorable experience awaits you when you go chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park. You’ll be able to trek various habituated chimpanzee troops and learn more about them, including their feeding habits, which include watching them consume edible leaves, fruits, and small insects like termites and caterpillars. You’ll also get to witness how a habituated troop goes about their daily tasks and how they get along with one another. In addition, you will have the chance to see a variety of bird species during the activity, including the orange and white bird, the long-tailed bluebird, the paradise flycatcher, the Great blue turaco, forest hornbills, and more. After your exhausting day in the park, you will return to your lodge for some downtime and lunch before returning to the park in the afternoon to take part in the canopy walk.
Canopy Walk: After lunch and calmness, you will head back to the park and take part in the canopy walk where you will have rewarding experiences in the park from an aerial view. The canopy walkway is unique to Rwanda and East Africa, and it can only be found in Nyungwe National Park. Throughout the excursion, you will witness several monkey species dangling from tree branches, as well as several bird species and butterfly species and breathtaking aerial photographic opportunities. After canopy walk is done, return to your loge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Return to Kigali.
On the third day of your three days Nyungwe National Park tour, you will check out of your lodge after an early breakfast and make your way to Kigali, where you will have lunch and be guided through one of the most rewarding tours of Rwanda that is Kigali city tour. During this tour, you will see a variety of attractions and visit a number of sites, including the largest market in Rwanda, Kimironko Market, and Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum. After your Kigali city tour, you will be driven to Kigali international airport or any other location of your choice in Kigali city which will be the end of your 3 days Nyungwe national park tour.
