4 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari  : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a World Heritage Site, and you can visit it in just three nights on this short trip. Since our primate relatives are dispersed across the forest, a mountain gorilla safari in Uganda can involve a number of exciting excursions into the ancient rainforest.

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

On the first day of four days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari. Your safari guide will pick you and welcome you from Kigali International Airport to take you to Kisoro via Cyinka Border. We recommend arriving in Kigali in the morning because the trip to Bwindi will take about five hours by car. Along the way you will be impressed with the various features that gives you the stunning views. With the lunch enroute, then proceed until to Bwindi, once you arrive you will check in, and have the nature walks around the lodge area while observing the beautiful bird species. You will go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Rushaga Sector.

 On the second day of four days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari. This day you go gorilla trekking will be one of the highlights of your entire safari. There will be an early breakfast and a pre-made lunch available. You will meet with your guide and take you at the park headquarters for a briefing at 7 a.m. Your gorilla trekking guide will fill you in on the highlights of the gorillas’ daily lives. The duration of the gorilla trekking varies widely, from thirty minutes to seven hours. The experience of trekking over the high, densely forested hills and coming upon the gorillas hidden in the jungle is awe-inspiring and humbling. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll get an hour to observe them from a distance of 6 metres while watching them play, feed, making their next night’s nests and many others while taking their pictures and recording their videos. Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will drive you back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around like the Batwa people in their homes and interact with them.

 Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking – Nkuringo Sector.

On the third day of four days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari. Wake up early in the morning and be served with hearty breakfast and be given packed lunch. After another early breakfast, we’ll head out to the briefing site for our second day of gorilla trekking at a new area. Once we find the gorillas, we’ll have no more than an hour with them. A glimpse into the eyes of one of these majestic creatures drives home the relationship that exists between ourselves and them, making a gorilla trekking one of the most unforgettable wildlife experiences in the world. Sometimes the hour goes by too quickly, and then we’re on our way back to the lodge to share stories about the day. You will meet your guide and go back to the lodge for the afternoon for relaxation, and later in the evening you can have an optional forest walk activity where you get to spot the beautiful and colorful bird species, and after you get back to your lodge for dinner, and over night stay.

Day 4: Kigali and departure.

Leave Uganda behind as you make your way to Kigali International Airport from the lodge. Before leaving Rwanda, you may want to spend some time at the genocide memorial centre if you have time. The driver will have you at the terminal with plenty of time to spare before your flight.
