Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara.Â
On the first day of 4 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. At precisely 07:30 am, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Nairobi and taken on a drive to the Masai Mara national reserve. En route, you will see the Great Rift Valley and gorgeous escarpments, so make sure to capture breathtaking photos. You will make a stop at Narok, the Maasai people’s home town, where you may browse the many art galleries and craft stores before continuing on to the Masai Mara wildlife reserve. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, eat lunch and then depart for the reserve in the late afternoon for an afternoon wildlife drive in search of predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, African wild dogs and other creatures. After the afternoon game drive, you’ll return to your lodge, eat dinner, and spend the night.
Day 2: Full day in Maasai Mara.Â
On the second day of 4 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a delicious breakfast. Before leaving for the reserve, where you will spend the entire day exploring. You will go on two game drives during this time one in the morning and one in the afternoon and bring your lunches with you for a picnic lunch on the banks of the Mara River. The great wildebeest migration, one of the seven animal wonders of the world, can be witnessed if you travel to Kenya’s Masai Mara national reserve between July and October. You will enjoy seeing the millions of wildebeests, thousands of zebras, and dramatic river crossing at the Mara River as they leave the Serengeti National Park.
Other animals you might see include lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, hartebeests, rhinoceroses, and buffaloes, as well as numerous birds including herons and secretary birds. You will return to your lodge after spending the day in the Masai Mara reserve, for dinner, and spend the night there.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park.
On the third day of 4 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast check out from your lodge, with the morning enroute game drive while sighting the spectacular wonders of Maasai Mara National Reserve while heading to Lake Nakuru National Park the largest population of black and white rhinos in Kenya as well as sizable population of pink flamingos that can be found there.
You will check into your lodge after you reach the park, and then you will eat lunch. In the late afternoon, you’ll go on afternoon game drive in search of rhinos, lions, giraffes, and buffaloes and many others. You’ll also visit Lake Nakuru, where you’ll see countless flamingos lining the lake’s shoreline. After the afternoon game drive you will return to your lodge for dinner, and spend the night there.
Day 4: Transfer from Lake Nakuru national park back to Nairobi.Â
On the fourth day of 4 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will go to Lake Nakuru national park for a morning drive. While there, you will have the opportunity to see the black and white rhino as well as flamingos. After the morning game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch before checking out and leaving to return to Nairobi. Upon arrival, a driver will deliver you to your hotel or the airport in time for your trip home.
