Day 1: Arrival and Kigali city tour.

On day one of your 4 days Golden monkey trekking and mount Karisimbi hike, your guide for your safari will pick you from either Kigali city or Kigali international airport to lead you through the briefing session of your entire safari. You will be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during your activities and as you participate in your Rwanda safari for an amazing safari during the briefing session where your guide will give you an insight of the activities you will participate in during your safari, like golden monkey trekking, hiking safari and others. After the briefing, you will start your safari by participating in the Kigali city tour, which includes visiting notable locations like the Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum, where you can learn about the events leading up to the genocide in Rwanda. You will also get to visit the largest market in Rwanda, Kimironko Market, where you can buy souvenirs, organic fruits, and traditional clothing, among other things. Your Kigali city tour will culminate with a visit to a restaurant where you can savour delectable Rwandan cuisine. After the satisfying experience, you will make your way to volcanoes national park. On arriving the park you will check in your lodge where you will have leisure dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking.

On day 2 of your 4 days Golden monkey trekking and mount Karisimbi hike after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you from your lodge and transmit you to volcanoes national park so as to take part in golden monkey trekking where you will get to learn more about the primate species, on reaching the park, you will be taken to the park headquarters where they will get to know the golden monkey trekking guide in Rwanda, you are also allocated to the guide and ranger who will make sure you have an amazing activity in the park. During golden monkey trekking, you are going to see a variety of sights like bird species, primate species which will ensure you have an outstanding time and when you get the habituated golden monkey troop, you will be given one hour to b in their presence so as to get to know more about their behavior in the park and get to snap pictures of the primates and at the end of  one hour you will return to you lodge for lunch and relaxation and later on you will transfer to the Iby’wacu cultural villages where you will get to know more about the culture of Rwanda as you are engaged you will take part in a number of activities like community walks, banana beer making, subsistence farming, and preparation of local dishes among other activities and in the evening you will transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: mount Karisimbi hike.

On day three of your 4 Days Rwanda Golden Monkeys & Mt Karisimbi Hike, shortly after an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will be moved to the park to take part in the hike with a briefing about mount Karisimbi. While hiking the Virunga mountains in Rwanda, which is extremely an attractive mountain defined with thick and thick vegetation that acts as an a home to a number of attractions including bird species like handsome francolin, strange weaver, Archers ground robin, red faced woodland warbler, Ruwenzori double collared sunbird, Collared Apalis, Ruwenzori turaco, handsome francolin, strange weaver and butterfly species that will make bird lovers have an outstanding time during their stay in the park.  You will come across the Karisoke Research Centre on the way up Mount Karisimbi. Founded by the late Dian Fossey, it was instrumental in safeguarding the endangered mountain gorillas and preserving the primate species. For this reason, you will be able to view the research station while trekking up Mount Karasimbi. In addition, you will be able to witness mountain gorillas while hiking the mountain, including Susa gorilla family, whom the late American primatologist Dian Fossey researched, as well as other gorilla groups. Along the bamboo trees that line the slopes, you will also get the opportunity to witness the golden monkeys and other fascinating animals found in the park. You will camp at the camping zone at the summit of the mountain.

Day 4: Departure.

After an early breakfast at the summit on the fourth day of your four day Golden Monkey trekking and Mount Karisimbi hike, you will head down the mountain and into Kigali city, where you will have lunch at one of the best restaurants in city. After that, you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali city or at Kigali International Airport, marking the end of your safari.
