Day 1: Transfer to Akagera national park and Ihema Boat Cruise.Â
On day one of 4 Days Rwanda Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Trekking safari, you will be met by your guide a representative of our tour company who will pick you at any location in Kigali city either in Kigali city or Kigali International Airport welcome you to Rwanda the land of 1000 hills which will be evident during your transfer to Akagera national park. In order for you to have an excellent and safe stay in Rwanda, your guide will offer to give you a briefing session where you will learn about the rules and regulations to follow during the safari. On the approach to the park, you will pass by a number of tourist attractions, including coffee and tea plantations which will provide an unforgettable experience as part of your Rwanda tour, with the lunch enroute before continuing on to Akagera National Park.
After arriving at Akagera National Park, you will check in your lodge, and meet your safari and you will take part in an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and birds catching prey. After the safari activity, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Early morning game drive and transfer to Kigali.Â
On day two of 4 Days Rwanda Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla trekking safari. Wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast. After an early breakfast at your lodge on day two of your 4-day Rwanda Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Trekking safari, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Akagera National Park, where you can go on early-morning game drives and see all five of the big five animals: lions and leopards trying to catch prey for their morning bites, buffalos and rhinos grazing in the plains, and elephants at the river. After the morning game drive you will go back to your lodge for lunch and checkout from your lodge. And transfer to Kigali city, upon your arrival in Kigali you will do a Kigali city tour to various and popular areas in Kigali like the genocide sites, museums, Kimironko market and among many areas. After Kigali city tour you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali city for dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On day 3 of your 4 Days Rwanda Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Trekking safari, get up early in the morning and be served with breakfast, after early morning breakfast at your hotel, check out and you will embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will get to participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda. Through the Katuna border, you may enter the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Once there, you can have lunch, and then carry out optional batwa tours to the homes, through interacting and among others. After you will be taken to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. Â So you can get ready for the next day’s gorilla trek.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi and Back to Kigali.
On day four of your 4 Days Rwanda Wildlife & Uganda Gorilla Trekking safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, together with packed lunch you will meet with your safari guide and you will be transferred to the park headquarters where you will carry out gorilla trekking. You will go through a briefing when you get at the park headquarters where you will learn the guidelines to follow when gorilla trekking in Uganda, and then you will start your activity after being grouped in various groups of 8 people per group with the presence of well experienced guide the activity takes a period of thirty minutes to 6 hours.
 Along the way looking for the gorillas you will get to witness a variety of sights, including several bird species, and after arriving at the family, you will spend an hour with the gorillas learning about their behavior, feeding habits, and other fascinating aspects of the primates, taking their pictures and recording their videos. After the one hour you will go back to the starting point and receive the gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking. After you will embark on your journey back to Kigali and upon your arrival your guide will drop you off in Kigali city or at your hotel in Kigali.
