Day 1: Arrival.
On day one of your 5 Days Rwanda Primates Safari (Gorillas & Golden Monkeys), your guide for your safari will pick you from a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport and take you through an overview of your entire safari. You will be briefed on the rules and regulations to follow during your activities and as you participate in your Rwanda safari for an amazing safari during the briefing session where your guide will give you an insight of the activities you will participate in during your safari, like gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking, among other activities. After the briefing, you will start your safari by participating in the Kigali city tour, which includes visiting notable locations like  Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum, where you can learn about the events leading up to the genocide in Rwanda. You will also get to visit the largest market in Rwanda, Kimironko Market, where you can buy souvenirs, organic fruits, and traditional clothing, among other things. Your Kigali city tour will culminate with a visit to a restaurant where you can savour delectable Rwandan culinary. After the rewarding experience, you will make your way to volcanoes national park. On getting the park you will check in your lodge where you will have relaxed dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking.
On day 2 of your 5 Rwanda Primate safari, after an early morning breakfast at your lodge, your guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to volcanoes national park in order to participate in golden monkey trekking where you will get to recognize more about the primate species, on reaching the park, you will transfer to the park headquarters where they will get to know the golden monkey trekking guide in Rwanda, you will also be allocated to the guide and ranger who will ensure you have an amazing activity in the park. During golden monkey trekking, you are going to witness a variety of sights like bird species, primate species which will make sure you have an incredible experience and once you get the habituated golden monkey troop, you are going to be given one hour in the presence of monkeys and  learn more about their behaviors in the park and get to take photos of the primates and at the end of your excursion you will be transferred to you lodge for lunch and leisure and later on you will transfer to the Iby’wacu cultural villages where you will get to know more about the culture of Rwanda as you are diverted you will take part in a variety of activities like community walks, banana beer making, subsistence farming, and preparation of local dishes among other activities and in the evening you will transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Nature walks.
On day 3 of your 5 days Rwanda primate safari, after an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will be transferred to the park to take part in the nature walks within the park where you will have the an opportunity to see a the amount of recognizing attractions like the Musanze caves essential in the history of Rwanda, you will also get to see a the amount of rewarding attractions like the numerous primate species like dent’s monkeys, golden monkey’s and many other attractions. After the fulfilling activity, you will return to your lodge for lunch. Later that evening, you will relax and have dinner as you wait for the activities of the next day.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking.
On day 4 of your 5 days Rwanda primate safari, after an early morning breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will be picked by your guide and taken to volcanoes national park where you will get part of the outstanding gorilla trekking activity in the park. Once you arrive in Volcanoes National Park, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. There, you will learn the rules and regulations that must be followed when going on a gorilla trek in the park. The activity will involve hiking the various Virunga Mountains in the park to reach the different gorilla families. Once there, you will see a variety of attractions, including various bird species, such as the long-crested eagle, handsome Francolin, archer’s ground robin, African Rwenzori, double collared sunbird, and marsh harrier. Before reaching the Rwanda gorilla family, you will also see a number of primate species, which will provide amazing experiences. Once the mountain gorillas are located you will learn more about the primates by observing their feeding and grooming habits among the various activities carried out for a memorable Rwanda gorilla tours, which will make the four days of double gorilla trekking in Rwanda truly unforgettable. After your activities, you will check into your lodge for the night and dinner.
Day 5: departure.
On the fifth day of your five days Rwanda primate safari, get up early in the morning and take breakfast after breakfast you will checkout from your lodge and meet your safari guide for the journey back to Kigali. Upon your arrival in Kigali where you will have lunch at one of the best restaurants in town. After that, you will be dropped off at a location of your preference in Kigali city or at Kigali International Airport, marking the end of your safari.
