The safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwest Uganda’s foggy woodlands, where you’ll have the chance to see endangered mountain gorillas and spend an hour with them there. Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Kibale forest national park.

On the first day of 5 days Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari from Kigali. Depending on where you are in Kigali, our representative will meet you and give you a quick introduction to the safari before setting off for Kibale Forest National Park on the first day of the 5-day Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari from Kigali. You will stop for lunch on route and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the road, which includes terraced farmlands, rolling hills, and more. You will proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight after entering the park.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk.

On the second day of your 5-day Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari from Kigali, you will meet your driver guide and head to the Kanyachu Visitors Centre for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking after an early breakfast. You will be assigned a chimpanzee family to trek with and a park guide who is familiar with the forest’s routes after the briefing. Because they tend to roam from one spot to another in quest of food, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park might take anything from 30 minutes to 4 hours. Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park.

On the fourth day of the five-day Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari that departs from Kigali, you will wake up early in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast together with packed lunch, and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to take you to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on the guidelines and requirements for gorilla trekking. After the briefing, a gorilla family to hike with and a park guide who is familiar with the gorillas and the jungle’s routes will be assigned to you. Depending on where the gorillas are, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park might take anything from 30 minutes to 7 hours. This is because gorillas tend to wander about in search of food. You will see animals, including other primates, bird species while trekking. Once the gorillas have been located, you will be able to spend an hour with them in their habitat. You will stop along the way for lunch, continue on to Kigali, and upon arrival, your driver-guide will drop you off at Kigali International Airport for your departure flight or at any other location they see appropriate.
