Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
When you arrive on the first day of the 6 days Explore Rwanda Tour, our company guide or office personnel will pick you up from the location that was specified in advance and brief you about the safari. Then continue to upcountry for your trip. If you have time, you should visit the Kimiranko marketplaces in Kigali City and take a city tour that includes the Genocide Memorial. Then after proceed to Volcanoes national park. You will be having stopovers for pictures if you need them. Lunch will be enroute and proceed to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes National Park Rwanda.
On the second day of your 6 day Explore Rwanda Tour, you will wake up early, eat breakfast, and then head to the head offices of Volcanoes National Park. After receiving a briefing here, you will proceed to the park to start gorilla trekking. And then explore the park forests to look for the mountain gorillas, with the intriguing biodiversity long. Depending on the movements of the gorillas, on reaching them, you will be given a maximum of 1 hour, take pictures, move with them in the jungle, and enjoying the experience. After the trek, get back to the starting point, and get your gorilla trekking certificates and then meet your guide and go back to the lodge for lunch.
Evening community excursions (Optional): If you’re not too exhausted, you can go for a nighttime stroll, do a cultural tour, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking.
 On day 3 of the 6 Days Explore Rwanda Tour, you will get up early in the morning and have early morning breakfast, head to the headquarters of volcanoes national park, get a briefing as usual and head to the forest for golden monkey trekking. This is a guaranteed experience, not like the crazy gorilla trekking. You can anticipate seeing a lot of wildlife in the jungle. You have a maximum of one hour to go there; beyond that, you must return to the lodge for lunch and have an optional safari activity that is either visiting Karisoke center, or Iby’wacu cultural tour. Then after go back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest (5 to 6 hours).
On day 4 of the 6 Days Explore Rwanda Tour, get organized, check out of your lodge, and begin your journey to the Nyungwe Forest National Park, stopping in Kibuye for lunch along the way. And proceed with your journey until your lodge, upon your arrival check-in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking.
On day 5 of the 6 Days Explore Rwanda Tour, Breakfast will be served in the morning, after meet your safari guide and be transferred for a briefing at the Nyungwe Forest National Park headquarters. From there, you will follow your guide for chimpanzee trekking; however, due to their natural habitat in the bush, it may take, some time to locate them, if you are lucky enough to discover them close. On reaching them, take pictures and move with them for a maximum of 1 hour. After that, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch.
Nature Walk trails tour or Canopy Walk: During your leisure time in the evening, you can go on a walking trail or Canopy Walk, which offers you the opportunity to experience a 50-meter swinging bridge that is strung from big trees in the forest. You will see wildlife in the park as well as birds and the breathtaking rainforest. After go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Return to Kigali & Departure.
After breakfast on the last day of the 6 day Explore Rwanda Tour, you’ll make your way back to Kigali City. By now, you should be wrapping up your plans, taking farewell photos, enjoying lunch on the way, and, if time permits, returning for a tour of the city before heading to the airport to catch your next flight.
