A 7 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari offers visitors an exciting opportunity to explore some of the country’s most popular Kenya safari locations, including the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. You may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, special five species and many other creatures on this safari. This safari starts and ends in Nairobi.

Day 1: Pickup in Nairobi and transfer to Samburu national reserve.

Day 2: Full day game drive Samburu national reserve.

Detailed itinerary of 7 days Kenya Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Pickup in Nairobi and transfer to Samburu national reserve.

On the first day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Your safari driver guide will pick you up at your Nairobi hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at precisely 7:30 am and brief you about the safari. After a briefing about the safari, you will drive for around six hours to reach Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch. After arriving at your lodge, check into your lodge and have lunch, unwind for a bit, and then head to the park for an afternoon wildlife drive that will end with a breathtaking African sunset. Many animals, including zebras, lions, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, African leopards, gerenuks, Grevy’s zebras, Oryx, reticulated giraffes, impalas, olive baboons, waterbucks, and many more, can be seen during the game drive in the Samburu Game Reserve. You will return to your lodge after the game drive, enjoy dinner, and spend the night there.

Day 2: Full day in Samburu national reserve.

On the second day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and have a hearty breakfast. After having an early breakfast at the lodge, go on a morning game drive across the park to see a variety of animals, including gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, warthogs, lions, leopards, and Grevy’s zebras. You will then have lunch at your lodge and head back to the park for another wildlife drive till the breathtaking sunset, which you will be able to witness. After that, head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 3: En-route morning game drive and transfer to Lake Nakuru national park.

On the third day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Get up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast. After an early breakfast at the lodge, check out and travel through the Rift Valley to reach Lake Nakuru National Park. This is where you are going to enjoy the wonderful bird watching safari experience especially the flamingos and many other bird species. The rhino sanctuary, which is home to the greatest number of black and white rhinos in Kenya, is another highlight of Lake Nakuru National Park.

Once you reach at your lodge check into your lodge and be served with lunch. After lunch you will meet your safari guide and go for afternoon game drive. This is where you are going to spot beautiful creatures like the rhinos, lions, bird species and many others. After the afternoon gam drive return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Naivasha.

On the 4th day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Get up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast at your lodge, check out and transfer to drive directly to Hell’s Gate National Park, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and wildlife, including zebras, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, rhinos, and among others. You can also enjoy a game drive there, where you can see numerous birds, including verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzards, and swifts, as well as towering cliffs and stark rock towers.

After the wildlife drive, make your way to your lodge, check in, have lunch and then take a cruise around Lake Naivasha, where you can see hippos in their schools and take in the breathtaking African sunset. After dinner, head back to your lodge and spend the night there.

Day 5: Transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve.

On the fifth day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast.  Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, check out, and then take a 6 hour journey to Maasai Mara, the most popular wildlife safari location in Kenya. Once there, check in, enjoy lunch, and then continue your afternoon game drive in the reserve until dusk. Numerous creatures, including wildebeests, lions, leopards, Thomson gazelles, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and many more, can be seen during the game drive. You will arrive back at your lodge in the evening, stay the night, and have dinner.

Day 6: Full day in Maasai Mara national reserve.

On the sixth day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a delicious breakfast your lodge before heading to the park with a packed lunch for a full day of game viewing. While there, you’ll get to see a variety of species, including buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, wildebeests, gazelles, elands, and many more. A picnic lunch is served beside the Mara River, and as you eat, you can watch a variety of animals swarm the river in search of water. You will return to your lodge after the experience, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Day 7: departure.

On the last day of 7 days Kenya wildlife safari. Get up early and go to the reserve for an early morning wildlife drive with your safari guide, where you can take in the breathtaking sunrise and see several predators, including lions, leopards, and many more, as they return from their hunt. After the game drive go back to the lodge for breakfast, check out of your lodge and head back to Nairobi and from their you will be dropped at your convenient place.
