Highlights

Day 1 – Kampala to Bwindi
On the first day of the 3-day gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a representative will meet you at your designated location, either your hotel or Entebbe International Airport. Following a briefing by your driver guide about the safari, you’ll depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey, typically starting between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, lasts around nine to ten hours. En route, you’ll stop for breakfast in Kayabwe, home to the Uganda Equator, offering a chance for photos and an equator experience. Afterward, lunch will be served at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara, featuring organic Ugandan cuisine. Visitors can explore the Ankole Museum and craft shop for cultural insights and souvenirs. Finally, you’ll continue to Bwindi, where you’ll check into your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.
